Our Technology

Our tagline is simple: “innovation meets tradition”. We use traditional skills and knowledge of the marine environment coupled with modern and innovative technology and software for managing crew, vessels and live reporting.

Overview

This led to us in partnering with izon.live, a local company who specialise in software development for the offshore and renewable industries, to develop a complete new system called, Sea Source Asset Management (SAM). This innovative and unique system now allows us to collect and manage data during guard and survey vessel deployment through integrated asset management software.

Detailed Automatic Identification System (AIS) data is received from the vessels on project and transformed by our software system to produce multitudes of reports in easy-to-understand formats. Not only does this system increase functionality with regards reporting and visual data, it reduces the environmental impact of vessels, improves staff and skipper efficiency and enables 24/7 monitoring and support.

We identified limitations in our previous asset monitoring programme, Guard Reporter and found through meetings with clients there was a desire for more in-depth and visual reporting of their assets.
